Dining

With cuisines as diverse as the regions in which we operate, Haimark is redefining the on-board culinary standards on the rivers of Asia.

Our Culinary Director, Chef Jorg Penneke, is a renowned expert who has served guests aboard many of the 5-star river and ocean lines of the world, and we are honored to bring his creativity and expertise to our ships. He has created innovative menus for each of our ships that highlight the local cuisine, while also offering Western favorites. You will find extensive selections on our breakfast and lunch buffets, and have a hard time deciding between the options of our multi-course dinners.

Chef Penneke is also a member of the Slow Food movement, which is committed to preserving traditional and regional
cuisines, with the goal of sustainable foods produced by local, small businesses. After much research, he has personally
selected our food and beverage vendors in each destination, in order to ensure the freshest, and best quality
products for our guests.

On certain itineraries, our culinary team offers excursions to local markets, cooking demonstrations and classes,
taking every opportunity to educate our guests and support the local merchants
